Forget the showers, bring on the flowers!
It’s the third Tuesday of the month, which means it’s time for the April Hat. This month Courtney had enough of gray skies and cold, so she made her own flowers so she could feel bright and spring-like year round.
If this is your first time coming across the Year of Hats, we are releasing a new, free hat pattern made in our Germantown every month. Each month we feature a hat with a new technique and this month’s hat is no exception!
Courtney’s hat features faux cabled and twisted rib stitch brim and a fun flower stitch created with the help of a crochet hook. We’ve made a quick, no-frills tutorial for the flower stitch:
As with past designs, kits are available for the April Hat, which include:
> 1 skein of Germantown in Salmon
> 2 Perennial butterflies in Latte and Caribbean
> 1 custom leather label
